Programming language bindings for Motif
For users that don't want to use C/C++
Motif was primarily developed for use with the C programming language, as that was the language of choice on UNIX systems. However, there are many other programming languages that can be used to create graphical applications, and Motif can still be useful for such projects. In order to do this, a binding is needed to translate between the target programming language used by the application and the C-based Motif library.
Please note that this list is not exhaustive. Also, there is terminology overlap with "Motif" and "binding" in the medical research field involving DNA analysis, in which Python is a primary programming language, so apologies if you were searching for that subject rather than GUI toolkits.
